Center for Mathematics Applied to Industry
CeMEAI's mission is to provide resources and mechanisms to connect scientists, engineers, mathematicians and computer experts in order to solve challenging industrial problems by applying mathematical science techniques in a collaborative and engaging environment, training high-level human resources, as well as develop new transformative mathematical techniques and explore their applications for the benefit of society.
We carry out actions in joint projects with this center of excellence, we believe in the transformative power of knowledge.

Devido ao contingente de pessoas em situação de rua na cidade de São Carlos e seu dinamismo se faz necessário um acompanhamento próximo de cada indivíduo e suas características como sua realidade familiar, seu estado mental e condições físicas e financeiras. Então para melhorar a aquisição e gerência dos dados do Centro voltado ao atendimento de pessoas em situação de rua (Centro POP) foi desenvolvida uma aplicação, em caráter de experimentação, com o fim de suportar a equipe de campo e melhorar a tomada de decisão da Secretaria de Assistência social e cidadania.
